Automobiles in Germany's Town Found Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Law Enforcement
Officers reported they were notified by a individual who noticed a automobile in Hanau smeared with red-colored liquid

Around 50 automobiles have been covered with what appears to be blood from a person in the Germany's town of Hanau near Frankfurt, according to police.

Cars, walls and postboxes were marked, occasionally with prohibited symbols, they stated in a statement.

Law enforcement report they were alerted in the late hours on Wednesday, when a man discovered that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a red-colored fluid.

The substance had been placed in the form of a Nazi symbol, they added.

Law enforcement then located numerous other marked automobiles and house walls in the surrounding area.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under laws prohibiting the public display of symbols from the Nazi era.

Law enforcement state early analysis suggest the fluid was likely human blood.

"There is still no clue as to its source; investigators are not yet cognizant of any harm in connection with the event," they added.

Municipal representatives said they were attempting "to solve the mystery" and have asked to the residents for information.

A high-ranking political figure commented the incident left him speechless and had to be addressed rapidly.

"This incident strikes at the center of Hanau and reawakens the trauma of the extremist terrorist attack half a decade ago," he posted on online, recalling the death of nine people by a assailant aiming at individuals of immigrant origin in 2020.
